They are incarnations of the powers of dissolution and transformation, which can create breakthroughs during meditation. They can be recognized by their red hair, flaming auras, and 5 skulled crowns. (Also known as the Ashtabhairava who inspire fear). Vajrapani is known as “thunderbolt wielder”. He is the god of rain, (Indra in the Vedic tradition) and wrathful bodhisattva of energy. Blue with a tiger skin around his waist and a snake around his neck. He holds a Vajra in his right hand.
